GE Aerospace is seeking a Global Executive Customs & Trade Compliance Leader to set and execute the worldwide strategy for customs operations, tariff management, and duty optimization across four regions. You will lead a global team of professionals across 150 locations and 150,000–200,000 shipments annually, ensuring compliance and enabling growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Law, International Trade, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in customs, trade compliance, global logistics, or related operations roles.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct people leadership experience.
• Master’s degree or equivalent in Business, Law, Supply Chain, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Global strategy, governance & risk management: Define and execute GE Aerospace’s global customs and trade compliance strategy.
• Global operations leadership: Lead the global customs and trade compliance operations team across four regions.
• Customs brokerage management: Manage brokers and vendors globally, with controls and performance management.
• Duty optimization & special programs: Lead tariff strategies and programs to optimize duties and savings.
• Compliance investigations, audits & government engagement: Oversee audits and regulatory disclosures.
• Export operations compliance & business enablement: Embed export controls and guidance for shipments.
• Policy, procedure, training & continuous improvement: Lead standards, training, and Lean/digital initiatives.
• People leadership & development: Build a diverse, high-performance global team with succession planning.
