Job summary

Brink's Global Services is seeking a Customs Entry Specialist for the JFK Airport area in Springfield Gardens, NY. You will serve as the liaison for internal departments and US Customs, administering and processing import/export documents.

The role requires 2 years in freight forwarding or customs clearance, plus solid MS Office skills and strong communication abilities. Starting rate is $23-$26 per hour with a Sunday-Thursday schedule.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or customs clearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• 21 years of age or older and able to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customs entries and follow the clearance process.
• Scan, file, copy, and assemble documentation.
• Calculate duties or tariffs due on merchandise.
• Maintain client relationships and communicate discrepancies.
• Review rates and documentation for accuracy; ensure regulatory compliance.
