Job summary

NNR Global Logistics USA Inc. is seeking a Customs Entry Writer to prepare, review, and process documentation for CBP clearance of imported goods. You will work under a licensed Customs House Broker and liaise with customers, carriers, and government agencies.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 3 years in importing or freight forwarding, with CBP filing system proficiency and strong math skills. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Minimum of three (3) years in importing, customs brokerage, or freight forwarding.
Basic ISO training required.
Valid driver’s license required.
Ability to apply basic math to calculate duties, freight charges, and costs.
Proficient computer skills including CBP filings.

Responsibilities

Prepare and submit U.S. Customs entries under the supervision of a licensed Customs House Broker.
Ensure entries comply with U.S. Customs laws and regulatory requirements.
Review shipment documents for accuracy of values, origin, terms, and data.
Classify goods and determine applicable duty rates.
Prepare and file documentation with CBP to facilitate clearance.
