Flexport is hiring a Customs Specialist to strengthen our data onboarding for international shipments in NYC. You will ensure data quality from clients and suppliers, entering product information accurately and supporting the customs team.

The role emphasizes fast, precise data handling, high attention to detail, and strong communication. It requires onsite work five days a week at our New York City office and a proactive, team‑oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree preferred, but not required.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel.
• Selfless mindset willing to work in the nitty gritty of freight and logistics to deliver for clients.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Next-level attention to detail and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the quality of data from client and supplier through to Flexport’s Customs team.
• Enter commercial product information with speed, consistency and accuracy.
• Refine and expand the processes to help optimize our data onboarding and delivery.
• Demonstrate high attention to detail and value accuracy.
• Ensure quality control on international shipment documents.
