Job summary

Rain Bird is seeking a detail‑oriented Customer Service Specialist to support our U.S. and international distributor and retailer network. The role combines customer service, sales and marketing support, ERP administration, international logistics coordination, and data analysis.

You will collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service. Opportunities for growth into Product Management, IT, Sales, or Supply Chain are available.

Qualifications

2–3 years of experience in customer service, order processing, ERP, supply chain, or related roles.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, MIS, or related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service to domestic and international distributors and partners.
Serve as a key point of coordination between customers and internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
Advocate for customer needs while balancing operational and business requirements.
Coordinate international shipping requirements with distribution centers and logistics partners.
Prepare and review export documentation including invoices, letters of instruction, origin certificates, and trade documents.
Review letters of credit to support compliant transactions.
Communicate with freight forwarders, brokers, and carriers for export operations.
Support order-to-cash processes within the ERP system and assist with system improvements.
Use Excel to organize data, build reports, and support decision-making.
Participate in special projects and provide backup support for other customer service functions.
