The Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids in Washington, DC seeks an Associate Director, Law & Policy Reform, Data for Health Program to lead legal diagnosis and reform of civil registration, vital statistics and legal identity systems in low- and middle-income countries.

You will manage country programs, supervise in-country consultants and civil society grantees, provide technical legal assistance to governments, and lead thought leadership in CRVS policy and public health law.

Formación

• J.D. or equivalent first-level legal degree from an accredited law school.
• 5+ years of post-qualification legal experience.
• Experience in public health, human rights, or development issues.
• Ability to use legal analysis to advance policy objectives, ideally international.
• Knowledge of legislative and regulatory processes and drafting.
• Program or project management experience with international projects.
• Excellent analytical, legal writing, and research ability.
• Ability to work across cultures and with diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%.

Responsabilidades

• Lead legal diagnosis and reform across CRVS and legal identity systems.
• Manage country programs, workplans, and consortia.
• Produce global policy analyses, papers, and toolkits.
• Position GHAI as global authority on CRVS and legal identity law.
• Advance equity by strengthening registration rights of marginalized populations.
• Coordinate with partners, governments, and funders.
