Job summary

The Carlyle Group's Global Credit business is seeking a Manager to support the Credit Opportunities Fund Management team. The role focuses on accounting, reporting, and monitoring with a strong emphasis on private credit operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, CPA preferred, and excellent communication. Responsibilities include overseeing quarterly closes, coordinating with the TPA, and liaising with investors and legal.

Qualifications

• Concentration in Accounting and/or Finance preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in alternatives, fund accounting structures and/or SMAs.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage and develop junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quarterly closes from the TPA and review balance sheet/income statement accounts.
• Review cash and position reconciliations from Operations.
• Review accrued carry calculations and capital statements prepared by the TPA.
• Review financial statements and coordinate interim/year-end audits.
• Oversee SMA holdings, performance metrics, and side-letter reporting.
