Job summary

The Carlyle Group seeks an experienced professional to support fund management, accounting and financial reporting for Opportunistic Credit, collaborating with product teams and investors in a New York setting.

The role requires strong accounting/finance background, US GAAP knowledge, and experience with private credit. Competitive base salary in NY with a comprehensive benefits package and potential annual incentive.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience in private credit or public accounting with private credit/private equity preferred.
• Knowledge of US GAAP reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of the credit investment universe (including CLOs, Term Loans, Revolvers).
• Highly motivated with strong interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Fund Management / Operations: prepare analyses for fundraising materials and due diligence responses; assist with fund closings and legal entity structuring; monitor compliance and manage capital activity.
• Fund Accounting / Financial Reporting / Investor Reporting: review quarterly closes, carry calculations, capital statements, financial statements; coordinate investor updates and audits; support public company reporting.
