Qualified candidates have 2+ years in cost accounting and a relevant degree, with strong budgeting, forecasting, and ERP system experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional cost accounting experience.
• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with cost accounting focus.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and risk analysis.
• Robust reconciliation and cost analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data about the company’s operational costs.
• Develop overhead rates and absorption.
• Analyze costs of new and existing product lines.
• Ensure accuracy of item costs and manufacturing variances.
• Assist in audits and general ledger preparation.
• Forecast future purchasing costs and assist with tax filings.
