Job summary

Durex Industries, part of Spirax Group, is seeking a Controller to lead accounting, reporting, and cost management in a manufacturing setting. The role will drive global best practices through training and robust process documentation.

The Controller will partner with the General Manager and functional leaders, oversee and mentor the accounting teams, and lead budgeting, close processes, and internal controls to ensure accurate financial statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of senior accounting/finance experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong Excel and ERP system skills (Great Plains, Dynamics, or TM1).

Responsibilities

• Partner with General Manager and functional leaders to build strong working relationships.
• Oversee accounting team and ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, reporting and quarterly pacing processes.
• Manage month-end close and the preparation of monthly journal entries and financial statements.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting aligned with business objectives and strategy.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

5+ years of senior accounting/finance experience

Leadership/mentoring finance professionals

Manufacturing industry experience

Strong analytical and Excel skills
