Job summary

Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation, headquartered in Milwaukee, WI, seeks a Corporate Tax Intern for Summer 2027 to support the corporate tax function, including returns, audits, and global tax support from our Milwaukee headquarters.

This internship provides hands-on experience with U.S. federal/state tax matters, research on tax issues, and opportunities to contribute to process improvements while developing professional skills in a values-driven, growth-focused company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year degree in Accounting or Finance; junior/senior preferred; GPA 3.5+.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage several tasks/projects simultaneously.
• Attention to detail; high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Advanced problem solving and teamwork skills.
• Prior experience working in an office setting is a plus.
• Able to work 40 hours per week during the summer.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of U.S. federal and state tax returns.
• Assist with preparation of sales and use tax returns and other indirect tax filings.
• Provide tax-related support on a global level.
• Perform research related to specific tax matters.
• Validate tax exemption certificates.
• Support special projects and identify process improvements.
