Job summary

AMETEK, Inc. seeks a Corporate Paralegal to join its hybrid work team supporting over 50 business units in a global S&P 500 environment. The role focuses on corporate governance, minute books, and board materials under the direction of Corporate Counsel.

You will handle formation records, filings, organizational charts, and post-closing activities, with Notary Public certification required. Office 4 days/week; home office 1 day/week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7-10 years of paralegal or relevant experience, preferably in a corporate law department.
• Paralegal Certificate required.
• Notary Public certification required.
• High School Diploma/GED required; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 175 domestic subsidiaries.
• Prepare and maintain minutes, resolutions, various corporate filings, and other corporate records for AMETEK’s domestic entities.
• Assist with the preparation of board meeting materials and maintenance of minute books.
• Manage, update, and circulate entity organizational charts and other company databases for domestic subsidiaries.
• Notarize documents and obtain apostille/legalization as required.
• Support post-closing M&A activities by preparing acquisition summaries and managing post-closing deadlines.
• Prepare and file Forms 3, 4 and 5 for Section 16 officers.
• Prepare and submit AMETEK’s application to renew export license with the government.
• Filing, copying, records retention and other administrative tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
