Job summary

Optica is seeking a Technical Director to grow its corporate membership by building relationships across the global photonics industry. The role requires a blend of technical credibility, business awareness, and relationship-building skills to support more than 600 corporate members.

The ideal candidate will engage with industry leaders, foster collaboration, and represent Optica at various events. Significant travel is expected, approximately 60-70 days per year, including international engagements.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in relevant industry.
• Experience in business development or similar roles.
• Familiarity with the global photonics industry.
