Job summary

Bruker seeks a Corporate Counsel to join its Legal team. This in-house generalist will handle contracting, compliance, disputes, and employment matters, supporting across Bruker’s global divisions.

The role reports to the General Counsel and collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver practical, business-focused legal solutions. Qualified candidates hold a JD from a US law school, active MA license, and 4–6 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited US law school and active MA bar status in good standing.
• 4–6 years of corporate and in-house legal experience, incl. employment matters.
• Ability to draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Strong analytical, risk mitigation, and business-minded judgement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements (NDAs, MSAs, leases, software licensing, etc.).
• Provide timely legal analysis and advice to IT, Finance and HR stakeholders.
• Review and update contract templates and policies to reflect current standards.
• Manage customer disputes and coordinate with outside counsel as needed.
• Support corporate compliance, data privacy, and trade compliance programs.
• Assist with mergers, acquisitions, investments, integration and restructuring efforts.
