Job summary

Gentex Corporation is seeking a Corporate Controller to serve as the senior accounting and financial reporting leader reporting to the CFO. This role owns GAAP reporting, internal controls, cash strategy, and capital structure, with responsibility for consolidation, payroll, AP, AR, and the general ledger across global entities.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years of progressive accounting experience, 7+ years in leadership, and strong GAAP, DoD, and ERP expertise.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Minimum of 7 years leading managers and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in defense, aerospace, or equipment manufacturing.
• Familiarity with government costing and DoD audit expectations.
• Deep US GAAP and global consolidation expertise.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end US GAAP accounting and monthly close processes.
• Oversee payroll, AP, AR, and general ledger operations.
• Lead Treasury strategy, liquidity management, and debt facilities.
• Manage consolidation and financial reporting for global entities.
• Strengthen internal controls and drive automation initiatives.
• Partner with CFO and executive team on capital allocation.
