Job summary

Xero Shoes is seeking a hands-on Controller to own day-to-day accounting for a multi-entity, multi-currency global structure. Reporting to the CFO, you will run the close, drive financial reporting under U.S. GAAP, and prepare quarterly SEC filings while mentoring the accounting team.

You will lead a four-person team, partner with a lead FP&A resource, and manage internal controls. This fast-paced environment requires strong time management and adaptability to shifting priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA license required.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Hands-on accounting leadership in close, reporting, reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process across global entities and currency translation.
• Oversee general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and treasury support.
• Mentor a team of four accounting resources and collaborate with FP&A.
• Lead SEC filings (10-Q/10-K/8-K) and coordinate with external auditors.
• Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting.
• Support private equity owners and executive team with financial analyses.
