Job summary

Goldman SachsControllers team is responsible for financial control and reporting across private funds, hedge funds strategies, and private equity groups. The role supports valuation reviews, fund launches, regulatory reporting and collaboration with multiple divisions and external auditors.

The position requires 4–7 years of related experience and accounting credentials. A CA with alternative investments experience is preferred, along with strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office

Qualifications

• Related Experience: 4-7 years.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• Master's Degree in Accounting preferred.
• CA with experience in alternative investments /private funds market is desirable.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and coordination with Big 4 during audits is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard the assets and reputation of the firm by controlling and supporting the asset management division, and ensuring compliance with policies and global regulations.
• Review quarterly/monthly valuations and NAVs for private equity and hedge funds, review year-end financial statements and related activities.
• Support fund launch and liquidation processes.
• Handle corporate, regulatory and management reporting for funds.
• Work with Business Teams, Product Services, Operations, IT and Trading Divisions.
• Collaborate with fund administrators and auditors.
