Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Global Controller (Non-profit) in Arlington, VA. You will lead global accounting operations, ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance, and oversee grants accounting and NetSuite implementation in a mission-driven nonprofit.

With 5+ years in senior accounting, you will drive monthly/annual reporting, budgets, and internal controls to enhance transparency and support program impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• CPA, CMA, or other financial certifications are preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years in a senior accounting/financial management role.
• Solid GAAP/IFRS and grants accounting knowledge essential.
• Experience with NetSuite ERP is a must.

Responsibilities

• Oversee global accounting operations, controls, and procedures.
• Ensure GAAP/IFRS-compliant financial reporting and filings.
• Consolidate data for consolidated results and reports.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.
• Manage government reporting and tax filings.
• Develop financial controls and communicate metrics to leadership.
• Manage NetSuite system and grants accounting functions.
• Support A/R and A/P departments and budgeting processes.
