Job summary

TriSearch is seeking a Global Controller in Minneapolis–St. Paul to build and lead a standalone controllership organization for a high-revenue, multi-entity business.

You will own the global close, reporting, and accounting policy, while steering a major SAP S/4HANA implementation and first standalone audit. The role reports to the Head of Finance/CFO and offers significant leadership access, with a strong emphasis on building the function from the ground up and delivering comprehensive

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive accounting and controllership leadership.
• CPA or international equivalent.
• US GAAP and IFRS experience.
• Global, multi-entity and multi-jurisdictional experience.
• Building a controllership function from the ground up or leading a significant finance transformation.
• SAP S/4HANA implementation experience.
• Manufacturing experience including inventory, cost accounting and operational controls.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead an approximately 17-person global organization, including Tax and Treasury.
• Own global close, consolidation, financial reporting, statutory reporting and financial operations.
• Establish accounting policies and controls across US GAAP, IFRS and local statutory requirements.
• Lead the SAP S/4HANA implementation.
• Manage the transition from the former parent company’s shared services.
• Lead the company through its first standalone audit.
• Partner with the Board, Audit Committee, auditors and investor stakeholders.
