Job summary

Avantpage, Inc. is seeking an experienced Compliance & Legal contributor to support daily contract and compliance operations with a focus on Business Development.

You will review commercial documents, translate requirements into practical guidance, and track obligations, working under supervision and gradually gaining autonomy. The role involves reviewing B2B contracts, identifying obligations and risks, and helping internal teams understand requirements.

Qualifications

• Contract analysis/compliance experience in a corporate B2B setting.
• Experience with U.S. contracts or supporting U.S. clients.
• Advanced English and fluent Spanish; ability to review and translate as needed.
• Attention to detail and discretion handling confidential information.
• Ability to manage concurrent requests and meet deadlines.
• Collaborative with internal teams and strong communication during working hours.

Responsibilities

• Review B2B contracts for clients, vendors and partners, including NDAs, demo agreements, onboarding materials, insurance documentation and COIs.
• Identify contractual obligations and potential risks; prepare summaries, risk matrices, checklists and recommendations for review.
• Help Business Development, Sales and other internal teams understand contractual requirements and next steps in clear language.
• Support the contract lifecycle, coordinating documentation and follow-up actions through review and signature, and tracking obligations after execution.
• Maintain accurate contract records and document versions, supporting record retention and audit preparation.
• Assist with vendor and partner due diligence and compliance reviews by gathering documentation and flagging items requiring further assessment.
• Track and prioritize requests in Jira or a similar tool, keeping stakeholders informed of progress, dependencies and timelines.
• Escalate complex, sensitive or higher-risk matters to Compliance & Legal and follow established review and approval processes.
• Help improve checklists and workflows. Use approved automation and AI tools responsibly, protecting confidential information and validating outputs.
