Job summary

WHOOP in Boston, MA is seeking a Senior Global Supply Manager, Contract Manufacturing to lead the commercial strategy and management of key global manufacturing partners across development, ramp, mass production, and sustaining programs.

You will own complex negotiations, manufacturing cost strategy, supplier governance, capacity decisions, and contractual workstreams to deliver innovative products at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in global supply management, strategic sourcing, contract manufacturing, supplier commercial management, or related function.
• Experience owning complex commercial relationships with contract manufacturers, ODMs, or JDMs through development, NPI, ramp, and mass production.
• Strong understanding of contract manufacturing economics, including value-add, labor and overhead, yield, supplier margin, NRE, tooling, capex, inventory, and payment terms.
• Proven experience leading complex commercial negotiations, developing or challenging detailed cost models, and translating requirements into financial/contractual structures.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive complex issues to resolution in a fast-paced global environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally ~25% for negotiations, reviews, readiness, relationships, and milestones.
• Commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks to maintain high-quality output.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial strategy and key business relationships with contract manufacturing partners across product development, NPI, ramp, mass production, and sustaining operations.
• Lead negotiations covering manufacturing value-add, labor/overhead, supplier margin, NRE, tooling, capital equipment, capacity, payment terms, inventory exposure, productivity commitments, and other cost components.
• Build and challenge detailed manufacturing cost models with Finance, Manufacturing, and Global Supply Management to improve transparency and drive improvements.
• Drive commercial readiness for new and existing products, including RFQs, proposals, capacity and capital plans, and sourcing decisions.
• Establish strong supplier governance and executive relationships, using reviews, metrics, and corrective actions to drive accountability across cost, quality, delivery, capacity, and compliance.
• Lead resolution of complex supplier/commercial issues and identify opportunities to strengthen strategy, operating mechanisms, and resilience.
