Job summary

Phasic Energy seeks a specialist to own the end-to-end relationship with contract manufacturers, guiding additive and subtractive builds from authorization through delivery. You will manage multi‑stage playbooks, build functional QC gates, and translate learnings into design and cost improvements for domestic manufacturing scale.

You will coordinate across engineering, labs, and logistics, ensuring strict quality, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency as volume grows in North American markets.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years managing contract manufacturing relationships for physical hardware products.
• Experience with international manufacturing partners across large time-zone gaps.
• Demonstrated ability to manage production quality in outsourced environments.
• Knowledge of manufacturing cost structures and pricing negotiations.
• Strong project management discipline and proactive communication.

Responsibilities

• Own daily operational relationship with contract manufacturers across additive and subtractive builds.
• Serve as primary contact for contractor communications in a cross-timezone environment.
• Conduct initial product briefings: quality expectations, docs, timelines, IP handling.
• Build and enforce Build Authorization Packages and formal review gates.
• Oversee validation campaigns and enforce strict QC sequences.
• Coordinate with engineering and labs for first-article testing and compliance.
• Negotiate production costs with visibility into material, time, and overhead.
