Zusammenfassung

Qrypt is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager to own how our quantum hardware is built, sourced, and shipped. You will manage contract manufacturers, run production schedules, and coordinate internal builds that bring Quantum Entropy Appliances into customers' hands.

As we scale, you will drive new designs through manufacturing, collaborate with hardware engineering on manufacturability, and ensure on-time delivery with the quality we promise.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in manufacturing operations or related roles with contract manufacturers.
• Hands-on experience with electronics hardware manufacturing (PCBAs, boards, electromechanical systems).
• Proven track record of managing production schedules, inventory, and supplier performance for a physical product.
• Experience taking hardware through NPI to volume production (EVT/DVT/PVT).
• Strong purchasing, forecasting, and inventory/BOM management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to align engineering, suppliers, and leadership.
• Willingness to travel to CM and supplier sites as needed.
• Fluency with AI and agent-assisted workflows used in operations.

Aufgaben

• Own the relationship with contract manufacturers and key suppliers: quotes, POs, pricing, capacity, quality, and performance.
• Build and manage production schedules across CMs and internal build team; track builds and report status/risk to leadership.
• Own inventory of critical long-lead components; forecast demand, set reorder points, prevent stock-outs.
• Coordinate internal production and final assembly, including packaging, crating, and shipping.
• Drive new product introduction (NPI): move designs through first article, validation builds, ramp to volume.
• Partner with hardware engineering on manufacturability, ECNs, and yield/quality improvements.
• Establish and maintain manufacturing processes, documentation, and quality practices for scalable production.
• Identify and mitigate risks to delivery dates (component availability, CM capacity, repeatable assembly, QA).
