Job summary

Komatsu Mining Corp. seeks a Contract Development Manager to lead cross-functional contract development for strategic/global mining deals. You will drive negotiations, shape agreements across equipment, parts and services, and balance risk with commercial opportunity.

You will collaborate with legal, commercial teams and global partners to finalize terms, while supporting revenue targets and continuous improvement initiatives. Hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; law or related certifications highly desired.
• 5-10 years in contract management, negotiation and development.
• Occasional travel to support training or negotiations.
• Experience in heavy industry sales, distribution, contracts or on-site service.
• Ability to advise and persuade leadership on risks and mitigations.
• Understanding of legal and business risk in contract terms.
• Experience with international business principles and contract terms preferred.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Applications.

Responsibilities

• Support KMT contract management for strategic/global mining customers.
• Build internal and external relationships to balance risk and opportunities.
• Work across business areas to drive $500M–$1B contractual revenue.
• Manage original equipment, parts and service contracts across entities.
• Review contract structure and terms to ensure clarity and alignment.
• Facilitate internal approvals from quote to order signing.
• Develop proposals with PMOT, market share and loyalty discounts.
