Job summary

Neogen seeks a hands-on Black Belt - Continuous Improvement Manager to shape operations globally across manufacturing and business functions in Lexington, KY. You will identify high-impact opportunities, lead cross-functional initiatives, and establish robust measurement systems to deliver sustainable PSQDC improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or related technical field.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from a recognized institution or equivalent program.
• 7–10 years of progressive Lean Six Sigma/CI leadership in manufacturing.
• Proven ability to diagnose operational issues and deliver sustainable improvements.
• Strong change-management, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally ~30–50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement initiatives with focus on sustainability, standardization, and measurable impact.
• Partner with senior leaders across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, and other functions to identify and prioritize opportunities.
• Apply structured problem-solving, data analysis, and root cause methodologies to improve efficiency, throughput, quality, service, and cost.
• Establish measurement systems and performance indicators to baseline, monitor, and sustain results.
• Serve as a change leader and global CI resource across shop floors to executives.
• Coach and develop Lean Six Sigma Green Belts, interns, and co-ops; support CI training.
• Support knowledge sharing and scalable best practices across Neogen sites globally.
• Deliver project outcomes aligned with PSQDC goals; travel as needed.
