Job summary

3M is seeking a Continuous Improvement Leader for on-site work in Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin. You will guide site CI strategies, lead cross-functional teams, and drive improvements across manufacturing and supply chain processes.

Ideal candidates have a strong Kaizen background, data analysis skills, and experience with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to boost financial and operational performance. Travel is possible, with relocation assistance available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
• Five (5) years of experience in plant and/or operations leadership in private/public/government/military environments.
• Three (3) years of experience developing and leading kaizen events in similar settings.

Responsibilities

• Set short-term strategic direction and operating plans for the assigned area.
• Develop site CI strategy and collaborate with site leaders to establish improvement objectives.
• Address complex problems linking process, execution and data to drive financial improvements.
• Own site/organization goals, strategy and performance across operations.
• Drive financial improvements across the site/organization.
• Collaborate with front-line employees and leadership to define goals and approaches for improvement.
• Work with site leadership to determine approaches for achieving operational and financial objectives.
• Coach and develop others in continuous improvement as a core capability.
• Use the CI Dashboard to monitor and communicate CI impact to leadership at all levels.
