Job summary

Dana Incorporated is seeking a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead strategic initiatives across manufacturing operations, deploying lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies to increase productivity and reduce waste.

This role mentors staff, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and ensures alignment with Dana's quality and safety standards while driving continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of applicable experience.
• 10+ years of experience.
• Experience leading continuous improvement projects using structured methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement continuous improvement plans aligned with business objectives, focusing on productivity, quality, and cost reduction.
• Lead cross-functional teams through structured improvement projects using Kaizen, DMAIC, and value stream mapping.
• Train and support employees at all levels in continuous improvement methodologies, fostering engagement and ownership of process enhancements.
• Establish KPIs, track progress of improvement initiatives, and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Promote standard work practices and ensure all improvement activities comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
