Job summary

Nextpower LLC in Fremont, California is seeking a Senior Construction Project Scheduler who will own the global construction schedule, forecast resources, and support project leadership with schedule insights.

You will collaborate across Construction Management, Project Management, and Project Services to improve data quality, reporting, and scheduling workflows while guiding stakeholders through changes and ensuring milestones are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in construction scheduling or project controls.
• Strong knowledge of schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resources.
• Familiarity with contracts and commercial terms.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-directed with collaborative mindset.
• Ability to build relationships across functions and regions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the global construction project schedule with accuracy.
• Forecast project needs and coordinate global resource planning with cross-functional teams.
• Track projects to meet milestones and contractual obligations.
• Analyze schedules to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Advise on change orders to accommodate schedule changes.
• Propose and manage an enterprise-wide scheduling solution.
• Support data collection, validation, and data-cleanup.
• Create and improve recurring reports and dashboards.
• Prepare quarterly progress updates for Project Services leadership.
• Promote scheduling data standards and reporting processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and efficiency.
