Job summary

Nextpower Inc. in Fremont, California, is seeking a Senior Construction Project Scheduler to lead the global construction schedule, forecast resources, and drive timely project delivery.

You will partner with Construction Management, Project Management, and Project Services to improve visibility, data quality, and planning across the portfolio. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, project management, business, engineering, or related field.
• Five to seven years of experience in construction scheduling, project management, controls, or operational support.
• Strong understanding of construction schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements.
• Familiarity with contracts, subcontracts, terms, and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the global construction project schedule, ensuring information is accurate, current, and aligned with project requirements.
• Forecast project needs and coordinate global resource planning with Construction/Project Management.
• Track projects throughout their life cycle to ensure milestones and commitments are met.
• Review schedules to identify risks, recommend improvements, and develop schedule opportunities.
• Advise Project Managers on change orders to accommodate extensions, delays, or customer requests.
• Propose and manage an enterprise-wide scheduling solution.
• Support data collection, validation, reconciliation, and cleanup activities.
• Create and improve recurring reports and dashboards from system data.
• Distribute quarterly project progress updates to leadership.
• Promote scheduling standards and reporting processes across global teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows and efficiency.
