Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Scheduler to support complex construction and production scheduling in Newport News, VA. You will develop, maintain, and optimize detailed project schedules using MS Project, Primavera P6, and other tools, with focus on critical path and milestones.

You will collaborate with construction and production teams, translate plans into network schedules, and report schedule status, risks, and mitigation strategies to project leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of scheduling experience in construction or production.
• Experience with MS Project, Primavera P6, or Artemis.
• Ability to develop and manage network schedules.
• Knowledge of CPM analysis and schedule impact.
• Experience with field collaboration on deck/production.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication of schedule risks and mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules for construction and production activities.
• Collaborate with construction and production teams to gather inputs and progress.
• Build and maintain schedule networks with logic ties and resources.
• Use MS Project or similar tools to create and manage schedules.
• Perform schedule analysis and monitor progress against milestones.
• Conduct CPM analysis and provide optimization recommendations.
• Capture field data and incorporate updates into schedules.
• Support planning for moving work packages through project phases.
• Communicate schedule status, risks, and mitigations to leadership.
• Generate schedule reports and progress updates for stakeholders.
• Ensure schedule accuracy and alignment with objectives.
