Job summary

Exp Federal seeks a Project Engineer in Grand Forks, ND to support Project Managers on construction and mission‑support projects globally. You will assist with coordination, schedules, submittals and safety/quality plans, and enter data into RMS.

The candidate should have an engineering/architecture or construction management degree and 7+ years on-site experience; DoD experience is a plus. This is a full-time on-site role with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Engineering, architecture or equivalent Construction Management degree required.
• 7+ years of experience on construction or construction management projects, including on-site experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers coordinating Production, Quality Control, Health and Safety, and international support staff
• Monitor subcontractor performance
• Generate internal and external project reports
• Assist with preparing bids and proposals and providing subject matter material
• Review project schedules. Support the development and updating of project schedules
• Input submittals and other data into the USACE RMS
• Review invoices and track billings
• Write and review Construction Safety Plans, Quality Control Plans and Work Plans
• Review design submittals and provide comments to the design team on Design-Build projects
• Perform site visits to confirm quality performance and project execution
• Communicate effectively with U.S. DOD active duty and civilian personnel and multi-cultural staff and subcontractors.
