Job summary

Guardant Health, Inc. is seeking a highly strategic accounting leader to serve as the global control tower for financial consolidations, reporting, and close governance.

This role ensures the integrity and timeliness of global financial data to support executive decision-making and partners with regional teams across FP&A, Tax, and IT. The successful candidate will own end-to-end global consolidation in Oracle Fusion, standardize processes across entities, and drive automation to improve

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• Experience in life sciences, biotech, or highly regulated industry preferred.
• 8–12+ years of progressive experience in public accounting and/or publicly traded multinational companies.
• Deep expertise in financial consolidations, global close processes, and US GAAP reporting.
• Strong systems orientation; Oracle Fusion (intercompany & consolidation modules) preferred.
• Experience supporting external audits and SOX compliance frameworks.
• Knowledge of intercompany accounting and transfer pricing structures.
• Ability to operate in a matrixed, global environment with strong analytical & communication skills.
• AI & Digital Fluency; responsibly leverage AI-enabled tools.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end global consolidation, including eliminations and currency translation.
• Govern the global close calendar and ensure adherence to timelines.
• Lead global variance analysis and internal reporting for senior leadership.
• Oversee intercompany processes and transfer pricing governance.
• Coordinate with external auditors for SOX and US GAAP audits.
• Own consolidation and reporting functionality in Oracle Fusion; drive optimization.
• Standardize accounting processes across global entities.
• Lead strategic initiatives to improve reporting quality and automation.
