Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking a qualified accountant to support the month-end close and international consolidation, ensuring timely and accurate financial results.

The role involves preparing reconciliations, reviewing general ledger activity, and helping with foreign currency translation and ad hoc reporting.

Prerequisites include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA, and at least 3 years public accounting experience, preferably Big 4.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA required.
• Minimum 3 years public accounting experience; Big 4 preferred.
• International accounting experience required.
• Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Experience in Oracle and Hyperion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities including Oracle and Hyperion entries.
• Assist with global consolidation to ensure timely and accurate financial results.
• Prepare account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
• Conduct high-level review and analysis of general ledger accounts.
• Assist with accounting for foreign currency translation and ad hoc reporting.
• Support internal and external auditors and maintain documentation.
