Job summary

NVIDIA Corporation in Santa Clara, California, seeks a Director of Strategic Sourcing to own the end-to-end connectors & cables category globally. Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain, or procurement.
• 5+ years leading global suppliers and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Experienced with connectors and cables or related electromechanical components.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, and supplier qualification.
• Experience in supporting data center, AI systems, networking, or HPC products.
• MBA or advanced degree (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Global Commodity Managers coordinating with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Finance.
• Own the global sourcing strategy for connectors and cables across programs and lifecycles.
• Partner with suppliers to speed up capacity ramps and site bring-ups for new product launches.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Operations on supplier selection, PCN approvals, demand planning, inventory and cost alignment.
• Own category cost targets and cost-reduction initiatives with ROI-driven investments.
• Lead strategic supplier relationships, negotiating terms, capacity commitments, and investment models.
• Build and lead a high-performing strategic sourcing team with clear goals and data-driven culture.
