Job summary

Praxis Precision Medicines, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Congress Operations to lead planning and execution for medical and scientific congresses.

You will own the portfolio end-to-end, coordinating with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Sales, Communications, and Legal/Compliance to deliver compliant, high-impact events. You will manage a Meeting Planner, drive cross-functional execution, and ensure on-brand experiences across US and international events, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience leading events or congresses in life sciences, biotech, healthcare, or a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the congress portfolio from planning to execution for medical/scientific congresses globally.
• Maintain integrated congress calendar and critical-path milestones across abstracts, housing, registration, freight, and print.
• Lead and develop the Meeting Planner; establish priorities, ownership, and on-site coverage.
• Manage relationships with meeting management, booth/exhibit, A/V, production, freight, and housing/registration vendors.
• Ensure seamless onsite execution including staffing, materials, logistics, and speaker engagement logistics.
