Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Senior Director, Congress Center of Excellence to lead enterprise-wide congress strategy, governance, and operating model across Medical and Commercial organizations. This role will drive integration of congress activities into ISCPs, establish a global governance framework, and lead the use of AI and analytics to improve planning and measurement.

The position requires a Master’s degree with 13+ years in pharma/healthcare, strong leadership, and experience transforming

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in a relevant field.
• Significant leadership experience within Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications, Medical Communications, Publications, Congress Strategy, and/or related disciplines.
• Proven experience developing and executing global congress strategies across assets and geographies.

Responsibilities

• Shape and own the enterprise-wide congress vision for Medical, working with regional Medical and Commercial teams.
• Develop and maintain a global congress tiering and strategic prioritization framework.
• Establish congresses as an integrated component of asset-level and enterprise ISCPs.
• Create scalable and repeatable processes that support flagship congresses and broader portfolio participation.
