McDermott Will & Schulte (MWS) seeks a Conflicts Analyst in New York to research potential clients and matters, edit conflict search results, and provide data to the Conflicts and Compliance Attorneys and other offices. The role blends client diligence with risk prevention in a global law firm context.

The successful candidate will balance attention to detail with strong communication skills, adapt quickly to new concepts, and support attorneys with data-driven insights and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong communication, organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines for a global firm.
• Familiar with Intapp Open software and online research tools (Orbis, Dun & Bradstreet, World-Check).
• Library or research experience; familiarity with large international firms.

Responsabilités

• Process conflict search requests related to lateral partner transfers.
• Coordinate with attorneys and secretaries to clarify submitted information.
• Communicate results of conflict searches to Conflicts Attorney.
• Audit and correct search details in the conflicts database.
• Research new firm clients using industry search tools.
• Provide telephone and email assistance to attorneys and secretaries to interpret reports.
