Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Compliance Analyst to join the compliance team and help shape the future of payments. You will review regulatory requirements, support U.S. merchant onboarding, and translate regulatory needs into technical solutions.

You will collaborate with product teams, provide guidance on compliance impacts, and contribute to risk management activities. The role requires strong communication and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education, specialized training, and experience.
• Strong understanding of compliance, regulatory, business analysis, or risk management requirements within a corporate environment.
• Ability to evaluate complex business requirements and relate them to technical designs, system functionality, and downstream processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including developing presentations, client communications, and compliance-related documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret regulatory and compliance requirements to identify business and system changes necessary to maintain compliance.
• Facilitate U.S. merchant onboarding and due diligence activities in accordance with applicable regulations, policies, and compliance requirements.
• Drive compliance activities across multiple initiatives and projects, ensuring adherence to corporate methodologies, reporting standards, and escalation procedures.
• Partner with technical and business stakeholders to translate regulatory and compliance requirements into effective business and technology solutions.
• Collaborate with Product teams to evaluate legal and regulatory requirements while supporting strategic product objectives and maintaining compliance.
• Provide compliance guidance and subject matter expertise on proposed technical solutions, business processes, and operational impacts.
