Job summary

Enpro Industries, Inc. is seeking a Compliance Officer/Manager to lead and optimize our global compliance programs from Charlotte, NC. You will partner with the business to ensure ethical decision making, regulatory adherence, and risk mitigation across multiple domains.

The role requires 5+ years in compliance leadership, strong communication, auditing experience, and travel up to 40%. You will collaborate with legal, IT, and internal audit teams to drive continuous improvement and training

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in law, business administration or relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Compliance Officer/Manager or related risk control roles.
• Experience auditing and with international regulations (EU) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain compliance programs at strategic and tactical levels.
• Develop, maintain, and implement corporate policies across the organization.
• Design and implement control systems and leverage automation where possible.
• Communicate requirements of laws and regulations across the organization.
• Lead training programs to drive knowledge of compliance policies and guidelines.
• Develop and implement risk-based auditing plans and manage external/internal audits.
• Drive continuous improvement by verifying corrective actions and analyzing systems for regulatory compliance.
• Partner with legal, IT, and internal audit teams and site management.
• Manage outside counsel expenses on compliance matters.
• Monitor regulatory developments and evolving best practices in compliance control.
• Conduct periodic compliance risk assessments to prioritize program enhancements.
• Support internal investigations including fact gathering, interviews, and corrective actions.
• Ability to travel up to 40% as needed.
