Job summary

ZT Systems is seeking a Product Safety and Compliance Engineer to support the development of ZT products and ensure ongoing compliance with international, federal, state, and local regulations. The role involves coordinating global certification programs, interfacing with labs and government agencies, and guiding product teams through life-cycle regulatory needs.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with exposure to regulatory processes and certifications.
• Experience coordinating compliance programs and working with labs and test agencies is preferred.
• Experience with cross-functional teams across hardware product life cycles.

Responsibilities

• Validate product compliance to UL/IEC 62368-1, FCC, ICES, CE standards.
• Collaborate with hardware design teams to secure certifications.
• Manage global regulatory applications and resolve ongoing compliance issues.
• Ensure shipped products meet applicable standards and certifications.
• Update designs to maintain compliance with evolving requirements.
• Assist in internal and external audits and follow-up activities.
