Tzumi Electronics is seeking a Compliance Specialist to manage product testing, certification, and regulatory documentation for consumer electronics and small appliances in the U.S. This role requires coordination with labs, certification bodies, and overseas manufacturers to ensure timely compliance across development and launch cycles.

The candidate should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of leveraging AI tools to enhance research, documentation, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of compliance experience in consumer products, consumer electronics, small appliances, or related industries.
• Experience working with testing laboratories and certification organizations.
• Experience reviewing and managing compliance documentation and test reports.
• Experience coordinating with manufacturers and suppliers.
• Working knowledge of UL, ETL, FCC, CPSC, CPSIA, Prop 65, RoHS, REACH.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate product testing and certification activities with accredited laboratories and certification agencies.
• Manage compliance projects from product development through production and launch.
• Review test reports, certifications, declarations, and technical documentation.
• Monitor certification status and maintain testing schedules.
• Support compliance efforts for products sold in the United States, including labeling requirements.
