Job summary

Stadler US is seeking a Welding Engineer to provide expertise for welding operations at our Salt Lake City facility. You will maintain compliance with EN 15085 and ISO 3834 standards while supporting a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional welding experience, including MIG and TIG welding processes.
• Strong knowledge of aluminum alloys, particularly 5xxx and 6xxx series materials.
• Fluent in English (both verbal and written); German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Level B Welding Technologist for Class 1 railway vehicle welds.
• Maintain facility welding certification according to EN 15085.
• Provide technical oversight and approval for welding activities.
