Job summary

Guidant Measurement in Erie, PA is seeking a Senior Compliance & Certification Engineer to lead global product compliance, certification strategies, and regulatory engagement across ASME, PED, NTEP, and OIML scopes. You will partner with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and external agencies to ensure robust certification programs.

The role requires 7+ years in product compliance, experience with notified bodies and international standards, and strong technical writing.

Qualifications

BS Mechanical Engineering or related field.
7+ years in product compliance, metrology or pressure systems.
Experience with notified bodies, regulatory agencies, or certification labs.
Ability to interpret drawings, pressure calculations, material specs, and standards.
Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Lead cross-functional certification projects with engineering, operations, quality, sourcing, and external agencies.
Manage certification schedules and deliverables to meet product launch timelines.
Administer PED, CRN and pressure equipment compliance activities.
Support ASME pressure vessel and PED reviews.
Maintain technical files, calculations and certification packages.
Support ISO 17025 accreditation activities for the Flow Research & Test Center.
