Job summary

Airbnb, Inc. is seeking a Programs Lead to align the Community Team with key business initiatives. You will partner with Senior PMs to plan programs, manage budgets and vendor relationships, and ensure execution aligns with company priorities.

In this role you will own program operations, drive reporting, mentor others, and help build a culture of operational excellence across the team, delivering high-quality outcomes for hosts and communities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of project management experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail.
• Experience with project management tools (Airtable, Asana).
• Experience with budget tracking and vendor management.
• Fluency in AI tools to optimize workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

The Difference You Will Make:

As a Programs Lead you'll support programs that connect our Community Team to key business and brand initiatives. Your key responsibilities, including program planning and project management, will help to ensure our team stays aligned and on track to deliver high quality work and impact for our hosts.

A Typical Day:

• Work closely with Senior Program Leads and Strategists to inform program strategy
• Ensure strategies are aligned with business priorities throughout the duration of program
• Manage Project Planning and Execution
• Develop project plans and based on a program strategy
• Create detailed schedules, timelines, and budgets for programs
• Schedule regular working team meetings, take notes and track action items
• Lead Reporting and Documentation
• Track project progress and prepare status reports
• Document learnings and share best practices across teams
• Manage program performance and measurement
• Own Program Operations and Team Logistics
• Collaborate with BizOps team on connecting Global Program Team to internal tools and processes
• Build team culture and skills by setting up internal programs

Establish center of operational excellence

• Define systems and operations that extend to other Project Managers across the team
• Mentor and guide other Project Managers on the team in best practices

Your Expertise:

• 10+ years experience in project management
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with extraordinary attention to detail
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Airtable, Asana)
• Experience with budget tracking and vendor management
