Job summary

Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, a premier international law firm with strong New York roots, is seeking a Communications Specialist to join its Global Communications team and support designated practice areas and strategic firm initiatives.

You will develop media relations programs, draft pitches and press releases, create digital content and social posts, and collaborate with partners, Practice Management, Marketing and the external PR agency to elevate the firm's profile.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in communications or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic communications or public relations.
• Demonstrated media relations experience, including crafting pitches and securing placements.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with ability to translate complex topics into clear content.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communications strategies across designated practices and firm initiatives.
• Draft and edit media pitches, press releases, web content and social posts.
• Research markets, topics and developments to identify opportunities for timely content.
• Collaborate with partners, Practice Management and Marketing, external PR agency, and other stakeholders.
