Job summary

Dechert LLP in New York seeks a Manager, Public Relations to lead strategic PR for the Litigation practice in the U.S. You will work with the Litigation Client Development team and coordinate with London-based EMEA PR and other Marketing colleagues to elevate brand positioning.

The role requires hands-on execution, strong relationships with national and trade press, exceptional writing, and the ability to translate strategy into action while managing senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional services environment, preferably law.
• Journalism experience preferred.
• Established relationships across U.S. national, business and legal press.
• Ability to translate strategic plans into actionable steps.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement media strategies aligned with firm goals.
• Cultivate relationships with reporters and coordinate interviews.
• Draft press releases and publicity materials; manage placements.
• Track media coverage and report metrics regularly.
• Identify opportunities and risks, advising partners accordingly.
