Job summary

UNDP is seeking an intern to support its Communications Group in advancing online outreach and policy messaging. You will assist in researching topics, compiling press materials, and coordinating media events while gaining exposure to global development work and multicultural collaboration.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a graduate degree, in their final year, or have recently graduated, with strong writing, editing, and organizational skills and a keen interest in global development issues.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a graduate program or final academic year, or have recently graduated and must start internship within one year.

Responsibilities

• Track, research and analyze information on assigned topics from diverse sources.
• Assist with communications campaigns and opportunities.
• Help organize press conferences for priority development issues.
• Assist with media monitoring and compile news on key themes.
• Maintain and update media and subscription mailing lists.
• Perform other assigned tasks as required.
