Red River Commodities, Inc. is seeking a Head of Commodity Procurement to lead domestic and international sourcing for confection and oil sunflower, millet, milo, and other specialty grains across our operations. This role ensures a reliable, competitive, high-quality supply chain.

The ideal candidate combines deep agricultural commodity knowledge with executive-level judgment and strong relationships with growers, brokers, suppliers, processors, and trade partners.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Ten+ years of progressive experience in agricultural commodity procurement and leadership.
• Experience leading domestic grower and broker programs and international sourcing; familiarity with sunflowers and grains is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural commodity markets, crop cycles, landed-cost economics, and risk.
• Proven negotiation, contract management, financial analysis, decision-making, and executive communication skills; ERP, Excel, and BI tools proficiency.

• Lead domestic and international procurement strategy to ensure cost competitiveness and continuity of supply.
• Advise executive leadership on market exposure, commodity trends, and purchasing positions.
• Align sourcing decisions with business objectives, margin expectations, and customer demand.
