Job summary

Joyson Safety Systems is seeking a Manager of Commodity Purchasing to lead regional procurement strategy, drive supplier selection, negotiate contracts and achieve value and cost reductions in line with company policies. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred), 5–10 years in strategic sourcing, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required with preference for Supply Chain Management or Engineering.
MBA preferred.
5–10 years of business experience, including 3–5 years in strategic sourcing.
Proven leadership and exceptional communication skills with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead the Commodity Team in the region and support the Global Commodity Team.
Develop commodity strategies that drive value and cost savings.
Utilize negotiation and value analysis skills to reduce costs and meet objectives.
Handle final negotiation and approval for sourcing in region and present to Global Sourcing Committee.
Source per company policies and procedures and maintain supplier relationships.
Stay informed on regulations, laws, and market conditions impacting availability, strategy, and pricing.
Participate in special analysis and projects as required.
