Job summary

Hollingsworth & Vose is seeking a Commodity Manager to develop and execute sourcing strategies for global raw materials. You will build and sustain supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive cost reductions while mitigating supply risks across multiple regions.

The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders, leading cross-functional teams, and implementing SRM processes to optimize spend and ensure supply continuity for the company’s engineered papers and nonwovens

Qualifications

7+ years in raw material sourcing and procurement, engineered papers/nonwovens industry.
Strong supplier risk management, commodity strategy development, contract negotiations, and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

Identify raw material sourcing strategies and negotiate pricing/delivery to ensure uninterrupted supply.
Identify alternate suppliers and coordinate qualification trials with key suppliers.
Utilize strategic sourcing, make-or-buy, and total cost analysis to manage suppliers and spend.
Lead cross-functional teams to identify alternative products and suppliers and drive continuous improvement.
Work with regions to implement global strategy and be an escalation point for supply chain topics at plants.
Negotiate global contracts and execute SRM processes for all global suppliers.
